All company’s have a mission and yours or your client’s is no different so figure out just what you are setting out to accomplish? During this step you want to figure out what your company’s goals are, what you want your customers, employees and the surrounding world to think about your business.
Core Benefits of Your Product or Services
How will or how does your products or services fix your customers issues? Sit down and think long an hard on how your product or services will benefit your’s or your client’s customers. You want your brand to portray to your customers that it will somehow benefit them or correct an issue they are having it their life. Prove to them you are the fix and because of your product these problems will no longer exist. Let’s take Fantastik’s Scrubbing Bubbles where they depict a bubble with bristles in the commercial getting rid of those hard to remove stains and gunge that other products couldn’t. After watching the commercial most people are going to get it in their head that those are some really strong stain removing bubbles!
The Perception of Your Product
Research is important for all steps during the creation of your branding process and you want to figure out how your customers perceive your product. Is there are certain way your product already appears to the customer or the public and when you figure that out you will now be ready to move to the next step in “Identifying Your Brand” which is to determine the qualities you want associated with yours or your client’s business.
